Another quarter of my fourth year life was going ended. As expected, there were many lessons that I have learned within this short period of time. New things and lessons which will serve as my stepping stone in achieving my goals and wants in life.
              In our ICT class, our teacher, Mrs. Vera Cruz taught us the different HTML Tags. We also did exercises to see how these things will work. It's fun to have ICT and it's the reason why I learned to love though before, I was wandering of where this subject  will bring me because I was not that who is good in computer and other high technology things. This subject is really fun and I'm very lucky that I've been a part of it.
               In every ending, there is a new beginning. The second grading period is almost over. I am looking forward and expecting more on the next grading period and I hope it would be even better.

                           In this highly developed and modernized world, new things and new discoveries were invented and discovered. Anywhere we go we can see things which were made possible by Science and Technology. Computers, iPod's, laptops,and cellphones are just some of these digital products.
                           If we notice, most of these products use the English language as the medium. That's why it's very important for us to learn English and be an English proficient. Being such has many advantages, just like in using these digital products. If you don't know how to read and analyze English words and terms, it would be hard for you to use it and maybe it will not make your work faster and easier but slower and more difficult rather. But if you are one then nothing wrong will happen. And also if you are already English proficient, it would be easier for you to become also a digital literate because you would be able to understand all the terms and words and commands used in these things. Then all of the things you want to know and your work would become faster and easier when you use these products.
                           English, also known, "The Universal Language" really plays a great role in our lives especially now that we are already living in this Technology era or the Age of Technology. If we know more about it, then we know more about the new things in our surroundings. Let us all promote Digital Literacy Through English Proficiency

                 September was known to be the Science Month Celebration and in connection to this, different schools are engaged to different activities. The theme for this years' celebration is, "Chemergy: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy."
                 We are now living in a world full of new discoveries, and as days go by, people continue to unfold and discover more things which were not known and does not exist before. Different things or inventions that will help us attain greater heights and even impossible things. However, all of these will not work without the help of Science(Chemistry) in fusion with mankind. If science alone can help us in making things work, what more when we work together with it especially Chemistry. We can make more things if it will work together.
                  Chemistry plays a vital role in the lives of people. Anywhere and everywhere we go, we can find things made possible using and applying the different techniques and principles of Chemistry. It continues to seek for more things and inventions that someday can be a great help to human. But then, we should bear in mind that nothing will work without the extraordinary mind humans had.

                    It's been more than ten years since I first entered the door of school life. When I first felt the essence of being a student and when I met for the first time the person who have changed my notion what schooling and teachers were.
                    Strict, wicked, always mad... These were some of the words I used to complement whenever I heard the word teacher. However, all of these were amiss, I was wrong. It was then when I have realized that teachers were one of the greatest and most beautiful people ever existed in this world. Even though they are only  receiving low salary, they are still giving it their all just let their students gain the knowledge and wisdom they needed.  I can still remember some pieces of advice my teacher in elementary had told me. She told me to strive even harder in my studies. Very simple sentence for others but means a lot  and deeper for me. Teachers are really great, they will support you whenever you are down. For me, teachers should not be called hero or superhero because there's no word to describe how great and evident they were.
                      As I continue walking on to the long and winding journey of life, I will never ever forget that one time in my life have I encounter these great and evident people who became already a part of me. You will remain in my heart no matter what or where this journey will take me, I will still remember all of you. Thank you very much my teachers, you were indeed MY HERO.

                         A hero is a person admired for its courage or actions.A hero these days has many meanings; depending on the time and reason that person is called a hero. Here in our country, different heroes existed not only in the past but also now that we are in this modernized world. 

            Walking through the halls of high schools is quite similar to walking through a battle field. You are never quite sure what you will find lying around the bend. New faces, new classmates, and new teachers. It's been three years since I entered the door of my high school life, three years of walking through a battle field using the knowledge and wisdom that I gained in the previous chapter of my life.
            In my fourth year in high school, there have been trials that came along my way, but I were able to pass on all of these through the help of my classmates and friends and teachers. Also, there are many learnings that I have learned which I can use as my guide in continuing the journey of life. For the first quarter of my senior life, I have learned how to become an effective leader and also I have developed the discipline and self reliance in me.
            As days go by, I will study even harder and make the things which can improve my personality and I will try to change the bad attitudes I have in this period of time

              "Isulong Ang Breastfeeding; Tama, Sapat At Eksklusibo," this is the theme for this years' celebration of the Nutrition Month. With regards to this matter, different schools all-over the country is engaged to different contests and activities to develop not only the skills but also to have a healthy body and mind.
               July is the Nutrition Month and the theme for the said celebration is all about breastfeeding. As we all know, breastfeeding is for mothers who had just given birth to their child. Newly born babies need nutrition and because they can not yet eat foods for they don't have yet teeth to chew it, the milk is the best solution to give them the enough nutrition. Before, the milk that came from the mother was the one drink by babies, but now, we can find different milks anywhere and everywhere. There are those called commercial milks, branded milks, powdered milks and whatsoever but one thing is for sure, not all these kinds of milk can give benefits to the babies instead there are some who are making the health of the babies bad. There is only one milk which we can guarantee the best quality and was trusted to make babies healthier and gives them the nutrition they need. It is priceless and we don't need to worry on the health of the baby because it was already proven to be effective in making the bones of the babies stronger. But nowadays there are only few mothers who are doing breastfeeding. It is now alarming that almost every mommy is using the commercial milks in feeding their babies which is not good because some are having bad effects. Because of it, we should promote right and exclusive breastfeeding for the babies for them to have a well-nourished body and mind because I believe that they are the hope of our motherland. For someday and somehow, there will come a time that they will turn into good citizens and no one knows if they can be the leader of our country someday.
